The idea behind Emma Rose Treasures began during my own breast cancer journey.
As I sat in a chemo chair, experiencing the fear, uncertainty, hope, and overwhelming emotions that come with a cancer diagnosis, I realized something was missing.
There were cards for almost every occasion—but I couldn’t find a card that truly spoke to the experience of having cancer.
I wanted to create something different.
I wanted to create cards that were heartfelt and meaningful—words that could express the emotions of the person giving the card and, just as importantly, touch the heart of the person receiving it.
Because I have been there.
I understand the emotions that come with hearing the words “you have cancer.” I understand the uncertainty, the fear, the hope, and the courage it takes to keep moving forward. I also learned just how much faith, family, and friends can carry you through the hardest moments. Their love, prayers, encouragement, and presence became such an important part of my journey.
And it made me realize how powerful a simple message of love and encouragement can be when someone is facing cancer.
The words are only part of the story.
Each Emma Rose Treasures card features a thoughtfully created image designed to complement the message and carry meaning of its own. The images and words are intentionally brought together so that the person giving the card can express what may be difficult to say, while the person receiving it can see, read, and feel the love and hope behind it.
Nothing is there simply by chance.
Every image, every word, and every detail is created with purpose and with the hope that it will mean something to someone walking through their own cancer journey.
My hope is that every Emma Rose Treasures card helps someone say what may sometimes be difficult to put into words—and that when the recipient reads it, they feel the love, encouragement, and meaning behind every word and every image.
Each Emma Rose Treasure is handmade with love and hope.
From the words chosen to the images created and the details that bring each piece to life, everything is made with the sincere hope that someone, somewhere, will feel a little more loved, a little more understood, and a little less alone.
What began with a need I discovered during my own cancer journey has grown into a much bigger dream.
Emma Rose Treasures will become a collection of meaningful treasures created to bring hope, courage, inspiration, and love to people affected by cancer—including cards, keepsake coasters, magnets, a book, journals, and more.
But the heart behind Emma Rose Treasures isn’t really about the things we create.
It’s about the people.
The person sitting in the chemo chair.
The person waiting for test results.
The person who has just heard the words “you have cancer.”
The survivor finding their way forward.
The family member, friend, or caregiver walking beside them.
Sometimes a small reminder that someone cares can mean more than we will ever know.
And I want Emma Rose Treasures to be part of that reminder.
Emma Rose Treasures Gives Back
A portion of the proceeds will benefit cancer organizations that help people and families affected by cancer.
Because this dream was born from my cancer journey, I want it to continue giving back to the cancer community and helping others who are walking a path I know all too well.
